Description

The aim of the activitiy is to support the technical coordination and management of the EC SNS JU 6G-NTN² NEXUS Project coordinated by the University of Bologna, and conduct advanced research and disseminate results in activities involving the University of Bologna. The first objective covers all management tasks for efficient technical coordination, including participation in remote and in-person meetings, drafting minutes, and providing technical-scientific contributions. The second objective covers research, implementation, performance evaluation, and dissemination of results on NTN for 6G, with focus on constellations for integrated multi-orbit terrestrial–satellite solutions, radio interfaces for future NTN systems (procedures, protocols, waveforms), distributed antenna techniques (e.g., federated cell-free beamforming), Integrated Sensing and Communications, and Radio Resource Management.
