Description
The research project aims to analyse public engagement as a cross-cutting dimension of research communication processes in contemporary university contexts. In an academic system increasingly oriented towards interaction with society, public engagement is not only a dissemination activity, but also a structural practice of relationship between scientific production, institutions and communities. The research aims to investigate how public engagement crosses and restructures the modes of research communication, affecting the narrative strategies, digital tools, public events and editorial devices adopted by universities. The project is part of studies on cultural and communication processes applied to the dissemination of scientific knowledge and aims to systematise analytical tools useful for strengthening the dialogue between universities and society.
