Description
The goal of the SHIELD project is to develop a space platform that meets ESA's zero-debris policy requirements. This project aims to develop a space detector capable of identifying and tracking space debris between 1 and 10 cm in size in real time. The detector is based on the architecture developed under the JEM-EUSO program. Research will focus on defining payload requirements and participating in the development of the payload camera.
