Development of predictive models for floating wind turbine - 2026_IDR_DMEC_7
Posted on: 26/03/2026
Deadline: 24/04/2026
Scientific-Disciplinary Group
09/IIND-02 - Applied Mechanics
Description
The research activity aims to develop suitable simulation environments to replicate floating wind turbine farms, with particular attention to the aerodynamic modeling of individual turbines and wake modeling. The objective of this activity is to assess the effects of interactions among multiple turbines in order to optimize their performance through the implementation of appropriate control techniques. As part of the research activity, medium- and low-fidelity codes will be evaluated and properly validated to enhance their accuracy.
