Description

One of the most exciting possibilities in the near future of particle physics is the potential discovery of feeblyinteracting particles (FIPs), such as sterile neutrinos, axions, millicharged particles, and dark photons. Theseparticles are often theoretically well-motivated, and a dark sector including one or more of them can bothhave the aesthetic draw of solving several problems simultaneously and be a valid alternative to the weaklyinteracting massive particle paradigm, which has dominated DM searches in the last decades.
