Description

The research requires the completion of the commissioning of an optical microscope in Fourier space designed to characterise the response of dielectric metasurfaces and, in particular, to analyse the behaviour of diffraction orders in devices that support non-local resonances characterised by high quality factors. This activity will allow the optimisation of all aspects of angular resolution, spectral resolution, alignment and software management of the microscope. At the same time, the system will be used to characterise prototypes of metasurfaces designed and manufactured at the Politecnico di Milano as part of activities related to holographic image projection and the implementation of optical filtering operations.
