Description

The project aims to develop a PoC of an integrated system for monitoring forested slopes and hydrographic networks, based on fixed and mobile sensing technologies and digital platforms for real-time alerting. It contributes to occupational safety, the improvement of ecological functionality, and the maintenance of essential ecosystem services. Aligned with the “Resilient Ecosystems” trajectory, it strengthens resilience and enables the restoration of Alpine ecosystems under safer conditions, promoting sustainable management of the forest supply chain, supporting rapid operational interventions, and thereby generating positive impacts on companies, supply chains, local micro-economies, and territorial communities.
