The project builds on the results and know-how developed within the framework of the PNRR PE11 MICS – Made in Italy Circolare e Sostenibile project, carried out in Spoke 1, with particular reference to research line 1.10 Beyond the Space Life. Digital Living Lab for Human Life in Space. The research aims to enhance the scientific results already achieved, strengthen the design models developed (tools, platforms, etc.), and reinforce collaboration among academia, industry, and institutions by broadening the field of investigation of extreme design. The candidate will be required to propose and develop a collaborative design model capable of activating new synergies, extending areas of innovation, and continuing work on the themes of sustainability and circularity in relation to extreme contexts and conditions. These processes will be guided by advanced design as a driver of innovation and competitiveness for the Made in Italy production chains and for other European scenarios.
