Description
The research program includes the study, development, and application of specific statistical tools for the analysis of mean and extreme wind data, the use of numerical tools to evaluate/validate the procedures under study, the definition of criteria for mean and extreme wind climates, both omnidirectional and directional, as well as modeling the associated uncertainties, the definition of criteria for compiling wind hazard maps, and the possible use of reanalysis.
