Description
The Department of Physics and Astronomy conducts cutting-edge research in various fields of physics, astrophysics, and geophysics. The research activities are highly diverse and cover both well-established areas (theoretical physics, nuclear and subnuclear physics, astrophysics) and rapidly expanding, often interdisciplinary fields (space science, applied physics, condensed matter, atmospheric physics, geophysics, quantum science and technology, gravitational waves).Candidates selected for these research positions will carry out their work in collaboration with one or more research groups within the department, under the supervision of tutors identified following the selection process.
