Description
The project aims to assess Urban Fire Risk (UFR) in the Mediterranean region characterized by green spaces or areas of historical-cultural interest using climate indices that quantify the influence of weather conditions on the likelihood of fire ignition and spread. The results are intended to support the integration of fire risk into the definition of intervention priorities for the protection of the urban area with reference to cultural heritage. Therefore, the activity requires knowledge of assessment of climate impact on cultural heritage and data analysis techniques with reference to climate data provided by various European programs, such as Copernicus.
