Description

The research programme forms part of the activities of MuSEd (Museum of School and Education) at Roma Tre and focuses on mapping the educational practices of active teaching implemented in Rome over the last few decades. Preserving the memory of these practices is a core mission for MuSEd, which will benefit from the creation of a museum collection where records of experiences from the present and the recent past will be preserved. To this end, schools and local educational communities will be involved, along with their tangible heritage (archives, press releases, books, objects) and intangible heritage (oral histories), fostering synergy between MuSEd, schools and third sector organisations. The methodology of ethnographic research will enable us to safeguard memory and educational practices, cultural expressions of the local areas that deserve to be highlighted.
