Description

Within the framework of the project Advanced X-ray Spectroscopy in Silver-Based Quantum Materials, ID PGR15112, CUP D43C26000050001, funded by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation (MAECI) under the Italy–Germany Scientific Cooperation Program, the research program aims to investigate silver fluorides as a novel platform for emerging quantum phenomena, including potential high-temperature superconductivity. Through Ag L-edge RIXS spectroscopy (~3.5 keV), key electronic and magnetic parameters (exchange interactions, spin–orbit coupling, hybridization, hopping) will be determined with high resolution, providing the basis for predictive phase diagram modeling. The project will be carried out primarily at the CNR-ISC unit of Rome under the supervision of Dr. José Lorenzana, and includes collaboration with the P01 beamline at PETRA III (DESY), where RIXS measurements of silver fluorides will be performed.
