Bringing Intrinsically Disordered Proteins to Biomedical Applications
Scientific-Disciplinary Group
05/BIOS-07 - Biochemistry
Description
The research activity will primarily focus on the standardization and integration of data related to intrinsically disordered proteins (IDPs) within the framework of the IDP2Biomed project. The activity will contribute to making IDP-related data compliant with the FAIR principles and to supporting advanced analyses within the project, with particular emphasis on identifying correlations between protein disorder, function, and disease: definition and implementation of data standardization procedures for heterogeneous sources; development of workflows for data integration across IDP-specific resources and reference biological databases; adoption and application of international data standards (formats, ontologies, metadata) to ensure data quality, consistency, and reusability; improvement of reproducibility and traceability of data and analysis processes.
