Description

The main objective of the research activity is the qualitative and quantitative assessment of biodiversity (vascular flora, lichens, phytocoenoses), including the use of bioindicators and the development of biodiversity indices, in order to assess the presence/absence of any changes to the naturalness of the phytocoenoses.By reviewing and collating environmental information on the natural heritage of the study area, and by gaining new foundational knowledge, we will select the areas and sampling points for environmental monitoring.During the first year of the survey, flora and vegetation surveys will be used to identify the areas of greatest natural and conservation interest, as well as the conservation status of the biocoenoses.
