Description
The selected candidate will contribute to the sustainability assessment of innovative technologies and value chains developed within the REMHub project (HORIZON-CL4-2024-RESILIENCE-01). The role focuses on evaluating the environmental, circularity, and socio-economic impacts of Rare Earth Elements (REEs) production, recycling (Re-X strategies), and magnet manufacturing, using a life-cycle thinking approach. The researcher will support the development of a robust sustainability framework aligned with Safe and Sustainable by Design (SSbD) principles, enabling informed decision-making and facilitating the transition toward a circular and secure REE supply in Europe.
