Description
The activity is aimed at the integration and validation of cooperative perception services based on vehicles and dynamic maps within a B5G (Beyond 5G) environment. The experiment relies on selected, already implemented components originating from the SMARTY project. The main objective is to improve the real-time understanding of the road environment and the situational awareness of connected vehicles by aggregating perception results from multiple mobile terminals and providing highly relevant, low-latency safety information through an edge-computing-enabled mapping service. The focus is on detection based exclusively on vehicles and UE (User Equipment) mobile devices.
