Description

Study of the environmental distribution of poly- and perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) using innovative analytical techniques. The research program will include field activities for the collection of samples from different environmental matrices, including biological matrices, comparing areas exposed to PFAS sources with areas free from known PFAS sources. The collected samples will then be extracted and analyzed using high-resolution LC-MS techniques. The data obtained from the analyses will be processed to study the environmental transport and accumulation of PFAS.

CV Evaluation Master’s degree or single-cycle degree in LM-6 Biology; LM-7, LM-8, and LM-9 Biotechnology (all specializations); LM-54 Chemical Sciences; LM-60 Natural Sciences; LM-75 Environmental and Territorial Sciences and Technologies; or LM-73 Forest and Environmental Sciences and Technologies, obtained no more than six years ago. Candidates holding a degree obtained abroad are conditionally admitted to the selection process. Experience in the research topic covered by the call is required. Knowledge of the English language is required. Knowledge of the Italian language is required for candidates of non-Italian nationality.
