Scientific-Disciplinary Group
10/ITAL-01 - Italian Literature, 10/LICO-01 - Contemporary Italian Literature, 11/HIST-04 - Book And Archive Studies, Historical-Religious Sciences
Description
The project seeks to enhance the Orengo Collection through digital methodologies, building on Gli spiccioli di Orengo by integrating archival description and bibliographic cataloguing. The appointed researcher will carry out the analytical inventorying, arrangement, and metadata creation of the materials, prepare the library component for inclusion in the National Library Service (SBN), and design an interoperable system linking the archive and the author’s library. Particular attention will be paid to Orengo’s journalistic writings—reviews, interviews, editorials, and radio and television texts—as a lens on his intellectual networks and on the broader relationship between modernity and tradition in twentieth-century literature. Collaborations are planned with ASUT, DISH, the Soprintendenza, the State Archives, Teche RAI, and the Sanguineti Centre. Expected outcomes include 1–2 scholarly articles, integrated datasets, conference participation, and public engagement activities.
