Description
The work plan will be structured into the following phases:• analysis of the state of the art on nature-based solutions for the treatment of polluted waters, with particular reference to agricultural surface runoff;• support for the management of the case study and the planning of experimental and monitoring activities;• collection, organisation and (lab and field) analyses of data related to water quality, biomass valorisation, hydraulic behaviour and the operating conditions of nature-based solution;• assessment of system efficiency in terms of contaminant removal, water quality improvement and potential effluent reuse;• definition of operational recommendations for the optimisation, planning and replicability of nature-based solutions in agricultural contexts.
