Comparative evaluation of the qualifications presented by the candidates (maximum 40 points for the scientific and professional curriculum, maximum 30 points for the chosen publications) and of the interview (maximum 30 points). Only candidates who obtain at least 50 points in the qualification assessment, will be admitted to the interview. In order to be included in the final ranking list, which consists anyway of maximum 5 positions, candidates must be awarded at least 20 points in the interview.The selection process aims to assess the candidate's possession of a scientific and professional curriculum suitable for assisting in the conduction of the research project subject of this call, as well as the candidate’s proficiency in English. Specifically, the evaluation focuses on relevance and importance of the research and professional activities performed, as well as on relevance, quality, originality, and innovation of the chosen publications.
Laurea magistrale (or comparable foreign qualification) in Physics (LM-17) or Engineering Physics (LM-44), obtained no more than 6 years prior to the deadline of this call.Postgraduate research or study experience at leading insitutions or organizations, in some of the following fields:- Development of nanostructured platforms for gas sensing;- Managing UHV systems;- Fabrication of electrical contacts using lithography, ebeam evaporation, and liftoff techniques;- Microscopic imaging using AFM and/or SEM and/or STM;- Spectroscopy for characterization of nanostructured and semiconductor materials, including XPS, EDX, and/or Raman;- Use of software such as Gwyddion, Origin, Matlab, and SMILE for data analysis;- Presentation of scientific papers at conferences and/or workshops with oral and/or poster presentations;The above experience is supported by the selected publications.
