02/PHYS-02 - Theoretical Physics Of Fundamental Interactions, Models, Mathematical Methods And Applications

Description

The main goal of the research project is to understand complexity in the context of quantum simulators, both digital and analog. The focus will be twofold: the study of complexity in wave function sampling, and the relationship between computational complexity and phases of matter within the framework of quantum resource theory. The project will primarily employ computational methods, such as tensor networks and Monte Carlo simulations, to model both systems of general theoretical interest and situations relevant to experimental realizations.
