Description

The research program includes: 1) the set-up of anaerobic bioreactors on a laboratory scale; 2) the monitoring of fermentation processes over time in terms of analysis of the COD consumed and the stability of the microbial community; 3) the analysis of fermentation products by GC-MS; 4) the evaluation of the presence of potential inhibitory molecules of microbiological activity generated by photochemical processes through fermentation tests of model compounds; 5) the evaluation of the process efficiency with mass balance and COD balance analysis.
