Description
The research activity will focus on the study of the physics of defects in quantum field theories in various dimensions, also through the analysis of generalized and noninvertible symmetries and of their formulation in terms of topological field theories. The researcher will also explore which physical properties are accessible through the analysis of quantum entanglement or of other related observables derived from quantum information theory.
