Description

The research programme addresses occupational health and safety through the development of models, methods and technological solutions aimed at prevention, training and the continuous improvement of working environments. The focus is on integrating risk factor analysis, the monitoring of organisational and business processes, immersive technologies and intelligent systems to support awareness, decision-making and collaboration between people and technologies. The programme aims to strengthen the capacity to design and assess effective, sustainable and transferable safety interventions, promoting safer, more inclusive, ergonomic and reliable workplaces, including in complex contexts characterised by contamination, advanced automation and human–machine interaction.
