Description

The research aims to provide an updated overview of the digitalization process among Italian SMEs and professional firms, exploring the policies and tools that support their digital transition. The main objectives are to: - assess the current state of digitalization in Italian SMEs and professional firms, with particular attention to production chains, territorial specificities, and organizational and dimensional differences; - analyze the dynamics, barriers, and enabling factors influencing their approach to digital transformation; - examine the adoption of advanced technologies within these organizations, highlighting related opportunities, challenges, and strategic implications; - explore the role of the innovation ecosystem and public policies in supporting digitalization across both areas; - identify leading best practices, focusing on new forms of integration between technology, processes, and markets.
