Dissecting immune programs that control myeloid leukemogenesis.
Scientific-Disciplinary Group
06/MEDS-02 - Experimental Medicine, Pathophysiology And Clinical Pathology
Description
The project aims to identify and functionally characterize novel mechanisms of immunological control involved in myeloid leukemogenesis. The ideal candidate should have a solid background in cancer biology. In particular, demonstrated proficiency is required in:i) handling and culture of primary cells and primary tumor cells;ii) the application of experimental approaches to investigate intra- and intercellular signaling, including genetic manipulation techniques (e.g., RNAi, CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing), protein biochemistry assays (e.g., Western blotting), and molecular biology methods (e.g., real-time PCR, RNA sequencing);iii) preparation and analysis of cell suspensions by flow cytometry...
