Description
The research activity focuses on analyzing and optimizing the performance of ephemeral communication systems, where retention and validity of data exchange infrastructures are strictly time-bound. The candidate will model and evaluate advanced information freshness metrics (such as Age of Information - AoI) while ensuring transmission reliability. The work involves the performance evaluation of various architecture solutions as well as developing algorithms for efficient resource management, possibly with distributed optimization techniques, aiming to maximize resilience in dynamic environments.
