Description

Development and implementation of CFD numerical simulations for floating breakwaters, based on a conceptual model previously established within LABIMA's research activities. The CFD outputs will serve as a basis for developing a surrogate model, which will subsequently be employed to optimize the breakwater design

academic titles' evaluation The ideal candidate holds a strong academic background in Civil, Environmental, MechanicalEngineering, or related fields. Proficiency in fluid-structure interaction phenomena and provenexperience with Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software, particularly Ansys Fluent, are required. Knowledge of Machine Learning algorithms and experience in maritime hydraulics or coastal engineering are considered significant assets. The candidate should demonstrate strong research aptitude, excellent analytical skills, and proficiency in written and spoken English, suitable for drafting technical reports and scientific papers.
