Scientific-Disciplinary Group
10/LICO-01 - Contemporary Italian Literature
Description
This project aims to explore the documents, books and papers held in the Ezio Raimondi Archive, which is housed at the “E. Raimondi” Library. The project aims to cross-reference three types of documents: Raimondi’s handwritten annotations on the margins of his volumes, the summary cards he compiled, and the notes relating to works in progress. In this way, a map of the entire library can be created, with the aim of investigating the methods used to develop the key essays of the scholar’s work. The research will initially focus on three main areas:1. The volumes and papers relating to German culture and Raimondi’s transition from philological studies to hermeneutics and the history of ideas (e.g. studies by Auerbach, Curtius)2. The volumes and papers relating to studies on Mannerism and the Baroque (e.g. Benjamin, Wolfflin, Longhi)3. Volumes and papers relating to studies on narrative analysis and narrative techniques (structuralism, Bakhtin)
