02/PHYS-02 - Theoretical Physics Of Fundamental Interactions, Models, Mathematical Methods And Applications

Description

The IR will be expected to perform original research on the formation and properties of primordial blackholes (PBHs) and exotic compact objects in the context of beyond the Standard Model (BSM) fieldtheories. Specifically, the research will focus on:• study of PBH formation mechanisms and clustering properties in different formation models;• study of the formation of oscillons and other exotic compact objects arising in BSM field theories;• calculation of the merger rates of these objects and their gravitational wave signatures at current andfuture GW experiments;• comparison of theoretical predictions with data from the latest LVK observing runs and upcomingcatalogs.
