Description
The project aims to investigate the settlement patterns of the Phlegraean geographical, administrative and cultural region between the Archaic and Late Antique periods. Particular attention will be paid to the diachronic reconstruction of the monumental layout of the amphitheatre in Roman Puteoli.The project aims, in general, to contribute to a better understanding and the enhancement of the ancient monuments of the Phlegraean Fields, through innovative tools such as 3D modelling techniques and an advanced database within the HBIM information system, which will enable the transmission of archaeological heritage to future generations
