Description

The research program involves the use and calibration of a Finite Element model for the computational analysis of cardiac perfusion, in collaboration with the Monzino Cardiology Center. A calibration technique has currently been proposed and implemented, successfully validated on 100 patients. However, improvements are needed to achieve a more consistent agreement with stress-CTP perfusion measurements. To this end, a new calibration technique will be implemented and analyzed in the LifeX software, with subsequent validation on existing and new cases provided by Monzino.
