FEED GENERATION is a project coordinated by the“Leonardo da Vinci” National Museum of Science andTechnology, in collaboration with the University of Milano-Bicocca and the University of Pavia. The project aims tostrengthen young people’s nutrition literacy and promotehealthier, more informed and sustainable food choices inline with the Planetary Health approach, counteringmisinformation and dietary patterns characterized by highconsumption of ultra-processed foods. The activitiesrelated to the assignment include: reviewing the literatureon risk factors associated with ultra-processed foodconsumption and health outcomes in young adults;supporting the design and implementation of educationalactivities, workshops and communication tools; codesigningmaterials with stakeholders; collecting,managing and interpreting data from monitoring tools;evaluating results; drafting scientific and disseminationreports/materials

The selection of candidates is carried out on the basis of qualifications and possible interview (with test of knowledge of the foreign language) (see Art. 1 par. 1 Call for applications). The public call with detailed attendance and selection rules (Art 4 and 6) can be found at: https://pica.cineca.it/unipv/tipologia/idrThe selections are open to candidates, Italian or foreigner, in possession, on the date of the deadline for submitting applications for the admission to the selection, of a master's degree or single-cycle, degree obtained no more than six years previously are eligible to participate in the selection process. These degrees must be relevant to the subject of the research activity. Further specific assessable qualifications (see Art. 1 par. 1 Call for applications): The profile required should include advanced training indietetics, clinical nutrition, public health, and healthpromotion, with in-depth knowledge of the nutritional andbehavioural determinants of health, with particularreference to overnutrition, obesity, diet quality, sustainabledietary patterns, and the principles of lifestyle medicine.Competence in nutritional assessment and bodycomposition evaluation, including the use of dedicatedequipment and dietary software, will be positivelyassessed, as well as experience in designing andimplementing nutrition education interventions addressedto different population targets, such as children,adolescents, young adults, families, communities, andgroups experiencing social vulnerability or living in intercultural contexts. Documented experience in the design, implementation,and evaluation of training activities, workshops, seminars,and communication tools aimed at promoting healthyeating habits, nutrition literacy, food sustainability, andPlanetary Health will be considered preferential. Skills inthe co-design of educational and dissemination materials,in conducting meetings with stakeholders, and indisseminating research results in scientific, institutional,and community-based settings will also be assessed.The candidate is expected to have skills in the criticalappraisal of the scientific literature, autonomy in draftingreports, scientific outputs, and dissemination materials, aswell as basic skills in collecting, managing, extracting, andinterpreting data derived from questionnaires ormonitoring tools. The profile is further complemented bythe ability to work in multidisciplinary teams,organizational autonomy, methodological accuracy, goodknowledge of the Microsoft Office suite, and of the main ITtools for data management and scientific communication.The following will also be assessed: enrolment in a PhDprogramme and/or possession of a PhD degree in fieldsconsistent with the research programme; professionallicensure in the biological-nutritional field; contracts,assignments, or collaborations in dietetics, clinicalnutrition, nutrition education, public health, or healthpromotion; publications in indexed scientific journals;participation in conferences, seminars, or scientific eventsas a speaker; teaching, university tutoring, or trainingactivities; and proven knowledge of scientific English. The candidate must therefore demonstrate skillsconsistent with the management of research, training, anddissemination activities in the field of nutrition and publichealth, with particular reference to:(i) analysis of the scientific literature on diet, health,obesity, diet quality, ultra-processed foods, and foodsustainability;(ii) design and implementation of educational programmeson nutrition, health, and sustainability addressed to youngpeople, families, communities, and stakeholders;(iii) collection, management, and interpretation of dataderived from questionnaires or monitoring tools;(iv) independent drafting of reports, scientific articles, anddissemination materials;(v) dissemination of results through publications,conferences, seminars, dedicated events, and scientificcommunication activities.
