Scientific-Disciplinary Group
12/GIUR-04 - Labour Law
Description
The research project aims to analyse the evolution of the legal position of workers within supplementary pension schemes in light of the reforms introduced by the 2026 Budget Law (L. n. 199/2025), with particular focus on life-cycle investment strategies and the portability of individual pension positions. It will also examine the legal safeguards available to members in cases of omitted or irregular employer contributions, addressing civil, social security and compensatory remedies as well as the liabilities of the parties involved. The project adopts an interdisciplinary approach combining legal analysis with economic and comparative assessments of the expected impact of the new rules on investment performance, risk allocation, pension mobility and the overall protection of workers’ retirement interests.
