Surrogate model for structural verification of nuclear components - 2026_IDR_DMEC_22
Scientific-Disciplinary Group
09/IIND-03 - Industrial Design, Machine Construction And Metallurgy
Description
Structural verification of nuclear components according to the RCC-MRx code, in industrial practice, is a manual and error-prone activity: it requires transferring the results of the finite element analysis between different software environments, classifying the stress states into primary and secondary contributions, and calculating the safety factors separately for each geometry and load combination. We propose to develop an end-to-end Python framework that fully automates this verification process and applies it to complex systems already developed with a classical approach.
