2026_IR_30_DIBIO Notice direct award n.1 Research Assignment funded by IMS - project title “Exploiting translation control vulnerabilities imposed by antibody secretion in multiple myeloma”
Scientific-Disciplinary Group
05/BIOS-08 - Molecular Biology
Description
The research activity will focus on the study of protein complexes involved in the regulation of protein synthesis in multiple myeloma through the integration of computational and experimental approaches. The successful candidate will contribute to the analysis of protein–protein interactions, the identification of structurally and functionally relevant regions, and the characterization of molecular mechanisms supporting tumor cell survival. Activities will include the use of bioinformatic and structural modelling tools, the analysis of experimental and predicted protein structures, the design of strategies aimed at interfering with selected protein complexes, and the experimental validation of findings using molecular and cellular biology techniques. The project will provide training in structural biology, RNA biology and multiple myeloma research.
