Description

The COCKTAIL project (funded by Fondazione Cariplo) aims at developing an innovative measurement technique based on speckle pattern imaging and artificial intelligence for the identification of adulterat substances in milk. The research activity involves the development of instrumental configurations based on the use of lasers, cameras, and other optical components for the generation and acquisition of speckle pattern images from milk.Experimental measurement campaigns will be carried out on milk samples, both of animal and plant origin, in adulterated and non-adulterated conditions, followed by the processing and classification of the acquired data using artificial intelligence models. Finally, the research activity foresees the development of a simple demonstrator of the proposed technique.
