Description

Study of parasite contamination originating from intensive aquaculture systems and their potential transfer to aquatic and terrestrial organisms through the food web. The research involves participation in field activities and the sampling of river and lake environments. Parasite analyses will be conducted using microscopy and molecular biology techniques. The occurrence of parasites in the sampled aquatic environments will be assessed in relation to chemical and physical variables
