08/CEAR-11 - Conservation And History Of Architecture

Description

The centennial of the inauguration of the Politecnico di Milano’s main campus—the Leonardo Campus—in Città Studi is not merely an institutional anniversary: it is a civic and scientific event that calls for rigorous research into one of the most significant milestones in Milan’s urban transformation during the 20th century. The centennial provides an opportunity to organize, interpret, and highlight a scattered heritage, making it accessible through bibliographic and archival research. The project will require specialized expertise in the identification, critical analysis, and cataloging of diverse documentary sources—including archival materials, photographic documentation, design drawings, historical publications, institutional records, and bibliographic sources—in order to provide a comprehensive and scientifically grounded overview of the evolution of the Leonardo Campus over a century of activity.
