Description
The research is both theoretical and design-oriented: it develops and tests innovative methodologies for the design of public spaces in urban contexts. The proposed approach integrates strategies for well-being and public health with ecosystem, landscape, and sustainable mobility strategies.The research is multidisciplinary: the disciplinary sectors most involved are CEAR 12 and MEDS 24. The research will compare Italian and Chinese cases, within the framework of shared global challanges and the evolution of the concept of public space triggered by the pandemic experience.
