Description

The research programme aims to study, test and enhance Arts-Based Research (ABR) practices as an innovative methodological approach to producing, communicating and sharing scientific knowledge. The research will focus on the use of visual arts, audiovisual languages, digital media and new technologies as tools able to support inquiry, interpretation and dissemination, while fostering community engagement and broader accessibility to scientific results. Participatory methodologies will be developed to build inclusive public engagement pathways, promoting dialogue among the scientific community, professionals, stakeholders and citizens. The activities will help strengthen the social and cultural impact of research through dissemination, training and knowledge transfer, grounded in the integration of artistic practices, digital media and technological innovation.

The selection of candidates is carried out on the basis of qualifications and possible interview (with test of knowledge of the foreign language) (see Art. 1 par. 1 Call for applications). These degrees must be relevant to the subject of the research activity. Further specific assessable qualifications (see Art. 1 par. 1 Call for applications):PhD in the Humanities; research experience (including research fellowships, grants, and participation in competitively funded projects) relevant to the research program; relevance of publications to the research program; experience in public engagement and science communication activities.
