Advanced numerical models for multiphysics simulations of high-pressure combustion
Posted on: 08/07/2026
Deadline: 23/07/2026
Scientific-Disciplinary Group
09/IIND-01 - Aerospace Engineering And Naval Architecture
Description
The research activity concerns the development and validation of advanced numerical models for multiphysics simulations of high-pressure combustion, with space propulsion and Liquid Rocket Engines (LRE) as reference applications. Coupled fluid dynamics, heat transfer, mixing, chemical kinetics and turbulence-combustion interaction will be addressed to predict flame stability, performance, emissions and thermal loads
