Description

The project aims to analyse international due diligence obligations under the regulatory framework relating to environmental sustainability, with regard to both the obligations of States and non-State actors. The research will need to take into account the elaboration within the United Nations, with particular regard to the work of the International Law Commission, the elaboration of international case law, both in the context of inter-State contentious and consultative jurisdiction, and in the area of human rights and investment litigation, and doctrinal elaboration, with particular regard to studies on obligations of care.
