Description

This Incarico di Ricerca, aligned with the ARCHYTAS project, focuses on designing and integrating a high-performance, application-class host system for "mesh-of-tiles" accelerators, with MAGIA as the reference platform. The incaricato will work on: 1) evaluation, integration and co-design of open high-performance RISC-V cores (e.g. PULP-C910, XiangShan) as the accelerator host; 2) design of the coherent interconnect, memory hierarchy and host-to-fabric interfaces needed to sustain accelerator throughput; 3) bring-up of the OS, software stack and runtime for workload dispatch, data movement and host–tile synchronization.
