Life SVOLTA BLU - Voluntary Credit System to Promote Water Savings and Conservation

The project concerns the design and implementation of a nationwide sample survey aimed at assessingthe level of awareness, interest, and willingness to participate in the water credits system. The collected data will be analyzed using econometric models to estimate willingness to pay for water credits, segment demand, and simulate different pricing scenarios. The activities will also include an assessment of the economic and financial sustainability of the trading system, identifying the minimum conditions required to ensure its effectiveness and long-term self-sustainability. These analyses will support the pilot actions envisaged by the project for the introduction of a regional-scale water credits market.
