IdR58/26 - Motivation, Engagement and Disengagement in Educational and Work Pathways: Measurement Tools, Organisational Practices and School-to-Work Transitions

The programme investigates motivational, relational and organisational processes that support or hinder engagement across educational and work pathways, with specific attention to school-to-work transitions, HR practices, Employability, and silent forms of disengagement. The research will integrate perspectives from Work and Organisational Psychology, motivation research and organisational behaviour, focusing on constructs and tools related to facilitating conditions, work engagement, psychological contract, employee silence, quiet quitting and quiet firing. Activities will include literature review, critical analysis of constructs and measurement instruments, support for survey design, data management and cleaning, basic quantitative analyses, and preparation of scientific and applied outputs for both academic audiences and organisational stakeholders.

Selection process

The competition will be carried out by an evaluation of titles and examination by means of an interview. For admission to the selection process referred to in Art. 1, potential candidates must fulfil the following requirements:a) Master’s Degree in the fields of psychology, education, sociology, or the humanities [Laurea Magistrale o a ciclo unico awarded pursuant to Art. 3(1n), Ministerial Decree no. 270 of 22/10/04], obtained no more than six years before the expiry date of this call;b) Possession of a curriculum suitable for assisting in carrying out research activities;c) Knowledge of the following foreign language: English.
