Development of synthetic methodologies for the manipulation of carbon-carbon bonds by niobium redox catalysis

The candidate will synthesize libraries of organic ligands, which will then use for the preparation of new niobium complexes. He/She will then study these new complexes by spectroscopic, spectrometric, and crystallographic analytical techniques in order to develop new catalytic methodologies based on the activation and manipulation of carbon-carbon bonds in olefins.
