Collection and digitization of inheritance tax declarations, Florence 1808-1963, for the WeInIt FIS3 Project

The researcher will work on the initial phases of the digitization of the inheritance tax files preserved at the State Archives of Florence, and their transformation into a database. She/he will collaborate with the WeInIt PI and Research team to train the models that will be used for this purpose.In the second year of activity, depending on the amount of data made available, the researcher will be able to begin developing independent research projects on it.The activity requires physical presence at the State Archives of Florence and the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.Experience in building and analyzing historical databases for economic history research is strongly recommended.
