Roman Imperial Legislation between Augustus and Nerva

The research aims to study Roman imperial legislationduring the early Principate, and in particular the body of constitutions issuedduring the period spanning from Augustus to Nerva (27 BC–98 AD). Thesetexts are of fundamental importance not only to historians of Roman law, butalso to philologists, archaeologists and historians of classical culture. Theresearch requires expertise in Roman law in relation to the study of Romanimperial legislation during the early Principate.
